Sander & Maaike
We are Maaike and Sander. We’re from the Netherlands – as flat as a pancake – but we’re true mountain lovers at heart. After traveling the world and building our own campervan, we found our way to the stunning French Alps in 2023.
With two years of experience working as a chalet chef and host, we’ve now started our own adventure.
This region has so much to offer outdoor enthusiasts – both in winter and summer. We love welcoming guests to one of our chalets, so we can pamper them and help create unforgettable memories in this breathtaking place.
WHO IS SANDER?
Sporty, great with kids, and a master in the kitchen.
As an educator and cheerful people-person, he’s the perfect host. And lucky you – he absolutely loves to cook. After a day of outdoor adventures in the mountains, you get to sit back and enjoy all the delicious food he whips up!
WHO IS MAAIKE?
Caring organizer with a passion for photography.
As a professional photographer and obstetrics nurse, she’s a true all-rounder with an eye for detail and a hands-on attitude. As your hostess, she keeps the chalet tidy and welcoming – and she’ll spot that you need a new drink before you’ve even taken your last sip!
